The Optimization and Personalization consultant gainsa deep understanding ofourclientsbusinessgoalsand createsanoptimization/ personalizationroadmap designed tosignificantly increase conversion rates.Theywork alongsideAnalysts,DevelopersandDesignersto helpexecute on the optimization roadmap.Theymustbe comfortablebuilding, defending and driving a business case infrontofexecutivesonthemarketing,technicaland designsides ofaclientsbusiness.
Methodologies: A/B testing, multivariate testing, segment-based targeting, behavioral targeting, display ad targeting, landing page optimizationand personalization.
Verticals: Retail, Media, Financial Services, Lead Generation, Travel
What you will do
Gain an in-depth knowledge of a clients website architecture, online business model, and customer goals.
Manage customer expectations appropriately and keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Leadface-to-facebrainstorming session withexecutives on the marketing, technical and design sides of a clients business.
BuildTestPlansforA/B testing, multivariate testing, segment-based targeting,behavioral targetingand personalization.
Generateoptimization plansbased onbusiness/customergoals, analytics and best practices.
Craft optimization frameworks and processes
Analyzelarge and detaileddata sets in order to make recommendationsaround follow-up tests.
Use an iterative approach to optimization, continuously taking test results and data into account in formulating new tests and hypotheses
Builddetailed wireframes and managetheir creative productionin order toaccomplish testing goals while adhering toacustomers style guides.
Managemultiple projects, with multiple remote teams, at one time.
Interactfrequently with clients via phone, email, and in-person.
Deduceand present results, learnings and recommendations fromtests.
Provide regular status updates and quickly escalate potential issues.
Work withleadership and sales teamsto ensure client renewals.
What you will need to succeed
Bachelors degree required.
Experience presenting in front oflargegroups. Must bevery comfortablein aclient-facing role.
4+years experiencein online marketing, user experience, and/or user interface design.
1+ years creating wireframes and managing design comp creation.
2+ years crafting online marketing strategies across multiple industry verticals (retails, financial services, media, travel, lead generation, etc.).
Experience running A/B, multivariate and behavioral targeting tests.
You must have a passion for the weband creatingdelightfuluser experiences.
Expertunderstanding of online marketing and web analytics.
Intermediate/Advancedunderstanding ofstatistics.You must love data.
Basic understandingof database management and APIs.
Must be self-motivated, responsive, and dedicated to customer success.
Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Special Consideration Given For:
Previous experience working with Adobe Target or similar tools
Previous experience working with Adobe Analytics or similar tools
Website optimization consulting experience
Vertical industry experience (e.g., retail, media, financial services, high tech, etc.)
Experience with mobile
Masters degree in business, information systems, or other related advanced education
