OVERVIEW The Senior Project Manager will be an advocate and strong practitioner of the Agile Methodology, with proven track record of delivering Agile projects as well as transforming and coaching teams to be Agile. The Senior Project Manager will work with product and technology stakeholders to define, scope and manage several product development projects that meet business objectives. Typical projects are software product development which varies in complexity and size and involve globally located technology and business teams. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for several projects and will operate within the parameters and tolerances set at the program and portfolio levels. Responsibilities bull Own and drive day-to-day project activities based on the agreed parameters set at the program level bull Organizes and facilitates daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and demos bull Set up assigned projects within the timeline, financial and other constraints set at the program level bull Work with key stakeholders to establish the project teams bull Manage project team to plan, deliver, report and perform lessons learnt on assigned projects bull Establish project backlog management and changeintake processes bull Financial management and accountability of the assigned projects bull Remove impediments and obstacles impacting delivery beyond the project teamrsquos control bull Establishing an environment where the team can be effective and addressing team dynamics bull Actively engage with other project teams and groups to manage both inbound and outbound dependencies bull Define and drive delivery process changes based on lessons learnt and learning from other projects bull Program level stakeholder management such as Technology Managers and Product Managers, including vendors bull Identify, manage and drive resolutions of project issues and risks, escalate to program managers when required bull Adhere to program and portfolio level operating rhythms to provide timely and accurate inputs bull Promotes project culture and coach the project teams on Agile and project management best practices Education and Previous Experience bull 6 years of experience managing technology projects and 3 years of Agile Project Management bull Bachelorrsquos degree, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering bull Project Management Certification PMP Certified bull Agile Certification Scrum Master Certified Preferred bull Track record of delivering multiple projects within specified scope, timescales and budgets bull Experience in driving Agile adoption and creating self-sufficient project team culture bull Knowledge of software release management, experience in driving faster release cycles, preferably in Continuous Delivery bull A problem solver, self-starter and someone who proactively engages with the situation and make progress bull Experience in leading cross-functional and global teams with diverse styles, skills, and abilities across cultures bull Ability to empower project teams, providing leadership to help teams move the project forward bull Great attention to detail and ability to jump to the lower level to resolve issues if required bull Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution skills
