The Center for Women's Entrepreneurship and Chathams Womens Business Center Program Coordinator provides high-level support in the areas of grant administration, communications, database and website management, event planning and logistics, writing and reporting, and budget management. This position is an integral part of both day-to-day operations, grant execution and compliance, and strategic planning.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree with preference given to candidates with Masters Degrees Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience in writing professional communications Familiarity with HTML, XML, CRM systems and website management Experience in customer service, records-keeping, and grant management
Duties and Responsibilities: Create, design, and maintain electronic communications and promotional materials, working closely with IT and Communications to produce, maintain, and innovate regarding new promotional materials and website design. Serve as a liaison to current sponsors and ensure execution of benefits and records keeping in conjunction with Institutional Advancement and work with the Executive Director to cultivate potential sponsor relationships. Act as the administrator of the website for the Womens Business Center and for the Center for Womens Entrepreneurship, teaching the basics of website editing to student assistants, researching new programs and features, and working with IT personnel to implement innovative solutions to technical challenges. Responsible for managing the uploading of tracking data to SBA system using XML format and managing cross compatibility between Chatham University tracking systems and the SBA portal, troubleshooting errors, managing changes, and working with the IT department to improve outcomes and workflow. Responsible for managing data for outcomes reporting for grants, including drafting budget reports and reviewing purchase orders, expense requests, and trial balances to advise Director and Executive Director on program status and course of action. Provide instructive tutorials for clients and staff on systems and processes. Plan and manage event logistics in addition to accommodating speaker, sponsor, and attendee needs, and attend events. Prepare all internal and external reports and grant applications and updates, and perform research on sponsors, speakers, and potential supporters. Consolidate and track metrics, prepare invoices, maintain Center files, and keep track of the Centers budget and finances.
